For us as a sustainable hotel, it is very important to not only create added value for our guests, but also for regional providers and our neighborhood.
Be it by providing free car sharing parking or planting a microforest.
Triggered by the pandemic and the daily events on our doorstep, we noticed the relatively poor local supply around our company and we thought: we can do something about it!
That’s why there is now a food vending machine on the hotel property, directly on Sophienstrasse in Erlangen.
Here you will find a small, fine selection of basic foods and small dishes. Because sometimes that’s all you need. If food is not sold, it can be used directly from our kitchen to avoid any food waste.
Of course you won’t find any run-of-the-mill products in there! Just like with our extensive breakfast, it is important to us to offer regional and/or organic certified products.
For example, you can find selected small dishes from Nägels Hofladen in Erlangen, some drinks from Lammsbräu or organic spreads from Zwergenwiese.
What’s particularly nice: whether you’re running out of milk while baking cakes at lunchtime or a little hunger keeping you awake at night – the food vending machine’s contents are available around the clock.
