Green Meetings at Hotel Luise

Every event at the Hotel Luise takes place as a “Green Meeting”. But what exactly is behind “green conferences”?
This much can be revealed: it has nothing to do with the color green.

As a very environmentally friendly city hotel, it was clear to us from the outset that all events and functions held at our hotel had to be as sustainable as possible. From the stay to the catering to the supporting program, everything should have as little impact on the environment as possible. That’s why every event is a “green meeting” with us. Sustainability is not the only priority, but also the experience and comfort. That’s how you can enjoy your days with a clear conscience! You can rely on the following:

Whether it’s an overnight stay, breakfast or event: we offset the resulting emissions with no ifs or buts. But the great thing is that there’s very little to offset, because our carbon footprint is more like a baby’s footprint (and we can give you a letter and seal of approval if your CSR department wants it).
Even the conference materials are resource-saving and sourced from a sustainable mail order company – good for you and the environment.

You can also look forward to great quality food. Almost all drinks and snacks are certified organic and the food comes from our organic partner restaurant Muskat in Erlangen.

Waste avoidance is our top priority, which is why all rooms are furnished in the spirit of the circular economy, with recycled and upcycled furniture and cradle-to-cradle products.
The design of the rooms is also based on the guidelines of biophilic design, creating an inspiring atmosphere.

Our central location makes it easy for you to arrive by public transport. E-charging stations are available for those arriving by e-car or e-bike. There is also a free bus in Erlangen city center that runs from the train station directly to the hotel
