Free bus travel
You can travel by bus free of charge in Erlangen city center. You can travel comfortably by bus from Erlangen train station to the vicinity of the hotel. You can find more information here.
E-car charging station
Two Wirelane charging stations with 22 kW are located on the corner of Sophienstraße and Pfälzerstraße on the hotel grounds.

Parking
There are several free parking spaces in front of the hotel. Alternatively, you can park your car in our underground garage for €16/day. Please let us know at check-in if you would like to use an underground parking space.

sustainability is a topic close to our hearts, which is why our breakfast is designed to be as environmentally friendly as possible. The majority of our products are certified organic, regional or Fairtrade. (All organic food on offer is monitored and certified organic (DE-ÖKO-001))

Catering at the hotel
We are a Hotel Garni, so we only serve breakfast. We are happy to recommend a restaurant in Erlangen. If you are feeling peckish, there is also a snack counter and our food vending machine in front of the hotel.
Outdoor areas
Biotope with sun terrace
Enjoy our little natural oasis in the middle of the city. Just let reception know and you can make yourself comfortable on the sun terrace by our biotope.
Roof terrace
Our roof terrace is open daily from 8.00 am to 9.00 pm. You can reach it by taking the elevator at the reception (4th floor).
Tiny forest
Our microforest is located at the back of the hotel. You can see it from the corner of Pfälzerstraße. Occasionally there are also VHS courses and guided tours of the microforest.
Deep courtyard
When the weather is nice, you can have breakfast in our deep courtyard. It is directly adjacent to the breakfast room. It can also be booked for events.
Barrier-free
Accessibility is important to us and we are constantly working to become as barrier-free as possible. Many areas already are. You can reach our roof terrace, the loft, the breakfast room and the conference room barrier-free. We also have suitable rooms. Feel free to contact us.
Spa & Gym
Bathrobe and slippers
You can borrow a bathrobe (€5) & slippers (€3.50) from our reception.
Fitness area
The fitness area is located directly next to the spa in the basement. It is open daily from 7:00 to 22:00.
Towels
Towels (2€) can also be borrowed at reception.
Massages
You can book various massages with us. It’s best to book them before you arrive.
Spa opening times
Our Gud ruh’n Spa is open Sunday – Monday 6 am – 10 pm, Friday and Saturday 3 pm – 10 pm.
Please register in advance.
Other
Pets
Dogs are welcome and cost €20 per day. Please indicate when booking if you are bringing your pet and note that pets are not allowed in the breakfast room and spa.
Lounge
You can make yourself comfortable in our room 20 lounge. You’ll find it to the right of reception in the corridor towards the spa.
Smoking
We are a non-smoking hotel and smoking is not permitted anywhere on the hotel grounds. However, there is a small smoking area next to the hotel entrance.
Store
We offer special sustainable and regional products in our TinyShop. You can find it in the room next to reception. There is also a corner with selected items of clothing from Dedicated.
Games
We have some games to borrow from reception.
Washing, drying, ironing
We have a laundry room in the hotel where you can wash, iron and dry your clothes. Just talk to us at reception.
Around the hotel
Pharmacy
The nearest pharmacy is Medicon Apotheke (approx. 11 minutes on foot). It is open from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm and on Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Jogging
There are various beautiful jogging routes from the hotel. Just talk to us.
Restaurants
Here you will find our favorite restaurants including their distance from the hotel.
Playground
A particularly beautiful playground is located at Komotauer Straße 1, about 15 minutes’ walk from the hotel.
Supermarket
Just an 11-minute walk from the hotel you will find an Aldi Süd. If you only need a little something, take a look at our “Margalädla” food vending machine. This is located directly in front of the hotel in Sophienstraße.
How do I get into the city?
You can walk, cycle or take the bus into the city. You are welcome to hire a bike from us. There is also the possibility of free bus rides in the city center of Erlangen.
